I quite liked this book, it introduces a lot of characters like Afterlives does, but in contrast here the author gives enough space and attention to each character and develops each story beautifully, touching on a lot of different social stigmas as well.
The story as a whole is beautiful but her writing style is difficult to grasp and makes it easy to lose track of the story. Some parts of her writing style were quite unique, and once I got used to it, it even became enjoyable and led to some great inside jokes with Basith.
I remember choosing this book because we wanted to read something emotional and gripping. I would say it came very close to fulfilling both the criteria.
It was a an engaging, thought provoking story with a lot of very well written emotionally charged scenes. However, I found myself being distracted by the writing style of the author frequently. If you like her writing style, I believe you will find this book really enjoyable.
