This book stood out to me for two reasons: its relatability in many aspects and the insightful, personal discussions it facilitated during our meeting. It effectively touches upon the life of many indiviudals, especially Amar, who constantly struggled to find a place where he belonged, to strike a balance between where he has come from and where he wants to be in life. The author does an excellent job of immersing you in the experiences and mindset of an expatriate Asian family living away from home.
